Wireless Charging Is a Disaster Waiting to Happen (2020)
- ErikCorry 4y agoThe disaster is still waiting to happen. Waiting, and waiting. They make it sound like a lot of power by multiplying with the number of phones in the world and converting it to coal fired power stations using a ridiculously small power station size of 50MW. For comparison the new solar capacity installed in 2022 (not including everything built from 1900-2021) was 5000 times as much as this, 268GW. Yes, global numbers are big.
