That was surely true before civilization, private property, etc... I'm open to new/creative ideas for how to build a society that guarantees everyone a "fair" shot at acquiring more abundance for themselves, if that's what they want. I'm sure there are better arguments for UBI, and it's unfortunate this terribly flawed one is getting so much attention.
