Show HN: Guess the animal by looking at a limited amount of pixels
- andrewfromx 4y agoI'm a little amazed at my human brain's pattern matching ability. Just a tiny bit of fur and I KNOW it's a cat.
- neontomo 4y agoIt's quite a rewarding experience. What is your best streak so far?
- andrewfromx 4y agohmm I didn't play for very long or even notice my stats. I just checked it out long enough to get what it was and then concluded: game, waste of time. Not to say all games or your games is not worthy, just my own issues. I can never play games. I feel like I need to get back to coding and be productive.
- beardyw 4y agoOn my phone the bird button is mostly lost off the bottom of the screen. Worked out what it was by deduction.

- neontomo 4y agoAnd skydiving is easier with a parachute, but way less fun! Ok, maybe a poor example.
- neontomo 4y agoMust be the AI mislabelling then! No but jokes aside, it's Snoop Dogg. I wanted to add a bit of humour.
- Agraillo 4y agoIdea came to be used as a captcha, though the list of choices should be extended from (cat, dog, bird) to restrict bots random guessing. The task is not that easy, but way more entertaining than finding bridges and pandas or entering nonsense text.
- neontomo 4y agoThat's an interesting business idea friend. If done in a way that the bot can't simply inspect the element to find the answer, it may be valuable.
- trumbitta2 4y agoNice, but... too easy? I lost interest at 20
- neontomo 4y agoIt gets harder, but you need to get past around level 30, then the square shrinks to a tiny dot. No one has made it past 40 yet.
- RobDukarski 4y agoI managed to get past 43 but it was a single box after that... I guessed wrong.
- neontomo 4y agoAt some point it becomes a game of randomness haha. But I've capped it so it never makes the square less than 5 pixels. Well done you hold the record as far as I know!
