I struggle to see the correlation.

  I'd be happy to have a discussion about a possible relationship between libraries and a dissolution of secular thinking in America--I'm just saying an emotional and hyperbolic lamentation of the death of a library is not that discussion. Not sure why that's a down vote. I just don't see the correlation.
