- thebitstick 4y agoPhone call or some kind of document verification. Phone call just involves typing a verbal authentication code. Very simple.
- vineyardmike 4y agoThis is to prepare businesses for when apple rolls out ads within maps right? Cynical me assumes most “business oriented” apple features today are in prep for their ramp-up of ads across the OS. You couldn’t sell a Maps ad that pointed to (1)only a website and took you out of maps or (2) the default auto-generated page from yelp.
- bognition 4y agoIt could be for ads, or it could be that accurate business information is critical to drive usage. Right now Apple Maps pulls from Yelp which makes it almost a non starter for me. I hate Yelp as the data is inaccurate and hostile towards businesses.

- tracker1 4y agoYou just need to switch to Apple Register for payments, Apple's 30% fees are a no brainier and you will be so happy you can customize the innovative new experience for your users.
