- prateekdayal 15y agoMy biggest issue with Trello has been that if you have two windows open, the changes don't sync between them. Pivotal tracker does this extremely well making it a team collaboration tool
- spolsky 15y agoIf you have two windows open in Trello, the changes do sync between them. If you're not seeing that it's a bug, but that particular feature has been pretty solid since day one.
- prateekdayal 15y agoI just tried it again and it does sync. Weird because many times it has not happen before. May be flaky internet?
- dodger 15y agoWe had a connection bug 3 weeks ago that could have caused changes to not sync. If you still have any windows that are not syncing, please email support@trello.com as soon as you can.
- mhp 15y agoIf you have two windows open, the changes DO sync between them. That's actually the whole point of Trello.
- watty 15y agoI haven't used Trello but I think it's geared towards a team rather than a single person with pen and paper.
- dagw 15y agoI use Trello do manage my personal to do list at work and find that it works far better than pen and paper. I have no idea what it's geared towards but for me it works great as a single person tool.
- igorgue 15y agoThe cool thing about pen and paper is that it's very unrestrictive, meaning, you want a check? do a check, an X, well X it is, a smiley face, circles instead of boxes and so on. Also, Trello is really easy to just close, a paper you'll have to hide it manually, going analog sometimes is good.
- dagw 15y agoAlso, Trello is really easy to just close, a paper you'll have to hide it manually, going analog sometimes is good. Funny I find I have the exact opposite 'problem'. Trello is always there on my bookmark bar on every computer I own, one click away from viewing anywhere I happen to be. On the other hand I tend to lose any paper to do list I make, and even when I don't lose them, half the time they're not where I happen to be.
- vtbose 15y agoWorkflowy, to me, is a better fit for just managing todo lists. In terms of usability, it is really nice.
- tomjen3 15y agoWorkflowy is awesome, but to steal Joels explanation while Trello is a list of lists, workflowy is a tree. Still wondering where org mode fits.
