Parler’s parent company has laid off a majority of its staff
- bediger4000 4y agoAh another company following Elon's lead! It's good that Parler saw Twitter's success with vastly fewer staff, and got rid of dead wood. When Parler keeps winning, maybe Elon skeptics will be quiet.
- lesuorac 4y agoDidn't Elon buy a company that was losing ~0.5B/yr and give it an additional 1.5B/yr expense (the interest payments) and decreasing the revenue by over 50%? I'm not too sure that's a great definition of success. Of course, Elon can stay irrational much longer than I can remain solvent. --- Obviously twitter hasn't fallen over but the only credible prediction (i.e. from somebody with relevant twitter experience) I've seen doesn't expect any major issues until after April [1].
