Ask HN: Why No Tech Company Hires?
Is it because of the Ukraine-Russia war? Is it because they don't need that much workers?

- rvz 4y ago> Is it because they don't need that much workers? Yes and due to the market correcting as the market was highly inflated at the peak height of 2021 and fundamentally over hiring. Clearly you don't need 7000+ people being paid $100K+ to run a company with revenues of $1B a quarter with mounting losses or living off and constantly raising VC money.
- worldsavior 4y agoPity for the people that hard worked for a degree in CS the last few years. I don't think they deserve it.
