The AR application I want is what I had always hoped to get google glass for ages ago and that is face recognition. I'm terrible at remembering names, it would be wonderful if the glasses I'm wearing when I look at someone would pop their name (and any other note I've created on them) off to the side of my view for quick reference. That done with a really clean interface would be worth it to me alone with almost no other functionality.
