New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg takes coding course

• AznHisoka 15y ago
Didn't Bloomberg know some programming since he basically created the original Bloomberg terminal?
  • bproper 15y ago
He created that terminal in the pre-PC era and hasn't officially worked at Bloomberg in over a decade while he has been Mayor.

The latter doesn't really detract from the former. And the pre-PC era still involved programming.

Nope. He was "chief cook and bottle washer". Went as far as soldering some resistors, though. http://vodpod.com/watch/15750006-founder-stories-how-michael-bloomberg-got-his-start-i-brought-you-a-cup-of-coffee http://vodpod.com/watch/15750006-founder-stories-how-michael...
