Lovely.
The only way to achieve peace is to promote the glorious war. There are definitely no other ways around. To save what have left of democracy, we need to invest another 10 trillion USD other people's money into this new adventure and China will suddenly become scared and creep under a chair with their tail between the legs.

- verdverm 4y agoThe point is to effect their decision making so that they decide not to invade a sovereign nation. Military posturing is part of deterrence and we should celebrate a cold war over a hot war.
- idiocrat 4y agoI seriously doubt that the China will be deterred just so by an increased US war spending. They seem not to care.
- verdverm 4y agoAs I said, military posturing is _part_ of deterrence. The US and USSR never came to a hot war. Why does conflict with China need to reach hot war? Why cannot China let Taiwan be its own country? The answer to the second will get you at the real fears of the PRC regime.
