I was told the same thing, accelerate if you have to.
Reason given was that braking causes the front end to drop causing the deer to be “pushed” up onto the hood and into your windshield.
No sure if this is true or not.
- techdmn 4y agoSadly it does happen. There are horror stories of live deer going through the windshield, doing a number on the occupants both with their arrival and their attempts to escape.
