Guidelines say "please use the original title, unless it is misleading".
The original title is misleading, as it suggests that the network will remain open after the changes.
Edit: I've changed it from "MIT to discontinue open campus WiFi on January 13" to "Upcoming changes to MIT’s WiFi networks", which is closer to the original but omits "open".

Visitors connecting to “MIT GUEST” will be required to provide an email address or mobile phone number to access the network. This still sounds like an open WiFi to me.
