Amazon brings Prime shipping to more third-party sites on January 31st
- PaulHoule 4y agoWho cares? There is no two day shipping to the Ithaca, NY area and many other rural locations that are not at all far from warehouses. My guess is that AMZN is concerned about competition from local retailers and if your town doesn’t have a Cheesecake Factory they figure the shopping sucks in your town so you don’t deserve two day shipping. But yeah, your congressman is in the DC area and probably gets next day or same day delivery. The end of two day delivery was particularly insulting because it came with a lot of news about how somebody in some anointed urban area was going to get even faster delivery. I am reading a lot about AMZN having financial problems but for me the end of two day shipping is the beginning of the end for AMZN. Next we are going to hear about Prime subscriber numbers dropping. I cancelled.
