This seems to be "hype-based design". Other than the potential for good PR, I'm not sure why lignin-based materials would be any improvement. And the "charged in as little as 8 minutes" appears to be ... one of those statements that isn't technically a lie, but also shouldn't be interpreted to mean a normal charge will take anywhere close to 8 minutes.
