- advisedwang 4y agoAnother example is that in the past it was very common for workplaces to hire generally capable people and then train them to do the specific job needed; now its much more common to expect you to understand the specific job and for you to be productive much earlier. In other words, training has moved from the responsibility of the company to the responsibility of the job hunter.
