Seems like a great way to learn/practice songs. I'd love to learn a few that I could perform on stage with a band I know. I wonder if anyone has developed an app that could take a recording of my voice and identify the songs where my range is most suited to success. I can really nail some vocals (like Merle Haggard) but fail with many others where I don't have the range/practice.
- InCityDreams 4y agoDecent musicians will change to accommodate you, and your range/ abilities. Apart from that, various softwares can assist by transposing a tune, whilst not adjusting the speed. But it really sounds to me you could do with a vocal coach/ teacher for a while. Youtube has a bunch of 'vocal coach reacts to...' videos (as opposed to 'rock band reacts to...' etc). That may give you an idea of what type of vocal coach you might want.
