Either convince your manager about your stand or just go with the flow. You don't have to come up with original post every time. You can simply repost/retweet or "like" other's stuff. Based on my experience all these kinds of initiatives are temporary and likely to change or lose relevance over time. All of this will stop if you get a new management in future.
