Hope its okay if I post something tangential to the topic. I just recently started working with OBS and I want to get into recording and potentially streaming linux gaming on Debian based systems, but what a hassle it's been to do what is pretty effortless on Windows! The AMDGPU and AMF stuff is so horribly fragmented, its really made me remove the rose colored glasses of AMD "just working" on Linux. It just works for gaming, but learning about why AMF won't work on a Debian based system (Linux Mint in my case) has only been the first few leagues down a rabbit hole that's shown why Linux isn't totally ready yet, sadly (DaVinci Resolve not being compatible with Debian systems as well)
