Oh man, it reads like a homework of my kid. The style is so poor. Whatever magical power there is, please save us from future with novels written like this. There’s no way I can convince any kid in the future to read if we’ll have only stories with this quality. It’s so bland.
- darreninthenet 4y agoIt's less than three months since it was launched... like most tech I'm certain versions 2 and beyond will improve upon things, not that these will replace authors in my opinion, at least not in my lifetime.
- jmmcd 4y agoIt's not really just that it's bland.. it's a parody of bad writing. These authors are clearly just having fun. A serious attempt at using GPT to write a Holmes novel could achieve quite good results, I reckon. It would involve more interaction and deliberate structuring of the story via prompts.
