I get it, there's one tiny aspect which is frustrating about some modern games. I don't like mandatory updates either. Bu if you're saying that one tiny inconvenience outweighs all the improvements since NES you're just lying to yourself and everyone around you. If I was a child I'd have waited 60 minutes PER BOOT to play a game with graphics, resolution, multiplayer of It Takes Two.
