Better to use the Advanced Filters section on the Alternative Fuels Data Center website to see a breakdown of CCS and Tesla DC fast chargers and AC chargers in the US and Canada:

For DC fast charging in the US and Canada, there are 5,963 CCS stations adding up to 11,659 ports and 1,800 Tesla stations adding up to 18,927 ports.
The main problem North America has is the failure to standardise on one EV plug format. All EVs should be able to charge at all stations, regardless of car brand or charging network. Split charging infrastructure just makes EV ownership worse.
Europe had the right idea by standardising on CCS Type 2 Combo. It makes EV ownership easier and better. You can charge your EV at any charging station, just like you can fuel your ICE vehicle at any fuel station.
