i do not like the negative sentiment in the question. There has never been something wrong with persuading an idea, that has been around already. The tools (not a complete list) have all their advantages and disadvantages depending on the path you could make use of them or your concrete requirements. But one thing is clear: retool is not OSS and most of the rest IS OSS. The motivation should be clear: all of them want to free you from retool (a company product) and make you a good citizen in the OSS community as a user and maybe also as a contributor.
