It does take two to tango, but this response is frustrating to me because it illustrates the lack of ethics/expectations in the design profession/community. (I am also a designer) Companies create the problems the features purport to solve, not the market. Yadda yadda faster horse quote, but it's true: people don't ask for (or need) much … so where does the divergence come from? To designers: Why do we allow such rubbish to be created? We know we can't put up too much fuss or we'll be worked around or replaced … by another designer who will willingly turn the crank for the biscuit. How do we not have more to push back with?
