I’ve lived in Mexico a few years and have also never seen it. I’m not saying Mexico is less corrupt than the the US. It’s certainly more. But it doesn’t seem to be “strictly” more, like a superset of corruption.
- offlinenative 4y agoLocal businesses even in San Pedro & the nice parts of DF routinely pay uniformed police officers to stand in certain places while on/off duty, that you don’t seen them loitering outside the door during business hours generally means it’s working.
