I've always heard the best way to get rid of someone from your life is to loan them money. People who owe you money make themselves scarce.
- mym1990 4y agoSeems accurate, had a friend/roommate who I had to spot a couple months rent, after he moved out I never did see him again hah.
- paxys 4y agoThis is rarely ever the case. If you "loan" someone money once they will just keep coming back and asking for more. Even worse, they will tell people and you will get the reputation of someone who is generous with money, and soon everyone will be asking you for some.
- labrador 4y agoIs this your personal experience or are you non-American? Americans generally don't lend more money to people who already owe them money, unless they are close family.
