I'm guessing your salary depends on you thinking that AI-generated marketing copy is a Good Thing™.
To me, it just sounds like more dystopian attention spam. If absolutely all marketing copy vanished overnight never to return, in my opinion the world would be a better place.
- mrguyorama 4y agoI'm hoping we haven't hit the "uncanny valley" of ML generated text yet, and we will get to a point where something very deep in our brain is able to pick up that ML generated text isn't something coming from a genuine person (much like how lots of people intuitively understand that marketing copy is valueless) and viscerally react to it in a negative way. It would be the only possible defense against this dystopian crap.
