I remember this. There was constant talk about how Japan was overpowering the US economy and how it was coming after the US and we needed to defend ourselves. It was mainly the US boosters that did all the talking of a coming war. But once the Japanese economy started to fade the war talk slowed. Now, it's China. I hope the hostilities fade just as fast.
