I like drawing. I started a few years back mushing paints around to express my emotions, moved on to basic faces in pen over a couple of years, and now I'm doing pencil portraits. Part of what I enjoy about it is that you're expressing what's coming to you, rather than trying to achieve a goal. It worked well to build up slowly through different levels of complexity, and it was fun to watch how things developed. I didn't have any aspiration to be able to draw like I can now when I first started.
