it would be surprising if all countries were not trying to infiltrate and manipulate sites which have become trusted sources, perhaps only a matter of a lack of resources preventing more activity of this type. Be interesting to see if we can come up with a 'league table of influence' on Wikipedia - I would imagine Saudi's would be pretty low ranking, US / UK probably No1 and No2 (and working together to keep it that way). Israel are too smart not to be all over it also. Who else would be good at this?
