- JoeyBananas 4y agoI see a scenario where WW3 happens, but nukes are not used or only few nukes are used. Nukes are powerful but they're not omnipotent.
- lionkor 4y agoCan't read it (broke), but I doubt that a world war will happen. I get the feeling that articles like this serve to justify violence to prevent a world war in the future - it seems to me to be part of the narrative of "XYZ is trying to start a world war, so we will fuck them up before they get to it". Incredibly flawed, in my opinion.
- ShroudedNight 4y agoIt's not clear to me why a round-up of Bloomberg articles is compelling beyond its title. I could potentially understand linking to its primary source of content [1], but not an aggregation that seems to add very little of value. - abudabi123 4y agoI'm on John Mearsheimer's side. The probability of the nuclear taboo being breached is not trivial. The leaders on the sides at conflict are elderly. When they die. They die. A hypersonic nuclear warhead put to use will definitely turn the page: a new chapter in war and history. Elites in mountain strongholds will crowd the online malls to buy luxury fashion bags oblivious to the trajedy at distance unreported on.
