Progressives go into fight-or-flight reponses around libertarians because the 60s-style 'live and let live' libertarian has been displaced by the 'destroy all government services' libertarian in popular culture.
- MomoXenosaga 4y agoLive and let live sounds great if you're the child of petty bourgeoisie parents. Meanwhile the millions in poverty don't have access to the "live" part. The only answer to the neoliberalism of the last 40 years is a course correction to socialism and big state government.
