Whenever I see a firm use brainteasers during the interview process, I just wonder why they don't simply recruit the best Sudoku players. That seems about as valid a way to judge software development skills.

- mirkules 15y agoSudoku measures how creative you are at finding the best logical solution, so that may actually be a good idea :) I suggest this with tongue-in-cheek, of course, but it's about as effective as any other method.
