ChatGPT is miles above Google search for me when it comes to learning the "hello world" of just about anything at this point. From there it's a simple prompt of where to go next and asking for references to work that dig deeper. Even if it's wrong, it almost doesn't matter because I can just say "are you sure?" given this extra information, and it corrects itself. Even then if it's still wrong you can prompt it in a ways to give you potential search terms to put into Google.
