- BadassFractal 15y agoI'm really curious what the HN's thoughts are about this. I didn't catch the discussion back when it might have happened on this board.
- libria 15y agoTo my knowledge, it has never been submitted. Perhaps you should; I'm curious as well.
- Drbble 15y agoI think that article was pre-Win7, so it isn't really relevant anymore, except maybe in a specifically Ruby niche (which is fine for 37signals). I can't say for sure because the post doesn't have date (day of year but no year). I wouldn't argue smart-aleck technical shibboleths with someone who can't display a date unambiguously without overflow rollover bugs.
- j_col 15y agoHere is Jeff Atwood's response to that post dated Feb 2008, which gives you some idea about the date of the DHH post: http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/2008/02/douchebaggery.html http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/2008/02/douchebaggery.html
- robertp 15y agoTurns out David was right, go to any open source focused conference and you will see everyone on an Apple computer.
- absconditus 15y agoIn what way does Windows 7 change things?
