Thank you for confirming my point. The legal age of consent in most states of the US is 16, with one at least being lower, and a few being at 17. So the Age of Consent all over the US is one at which all are minors.
If you are correct in that assertion that there cannot be "consent" of minors, then my assertion that laws are not able to keep up with the facts on the ground is being confirmed.
