Do you use your main workstation with directly connected display or via some remote technology?
My home server is in the basement and I have several low end devices around but haven’t found a way to use GUI applications remotely. Currently I use only TUI ones.
- derkades 4y agoAbout 15 meters of one USB 2.0, one displayport and one HDMI cable. Of course a 5V power supply for USB at the client end, soldered to the cheapest USB hub I could find. I never need more than the speed USB 2.0 provides anyway, and those USB 3.0 optical extensions are way too expensive.
