DF is mostly single core CPU bound. I've heard it also doesn't play well at higher resolutions. Try turning the game resolution down to 1080p.

- iKlsR 4y agoThe discord thread linked has that and a ton of other things tried as well such as fractional scaling on gpus, disabling game features, sdl1.2compat which is newer sdl backported etc.
