A hash would be better, it's decentralised, somewhat prevents someone reselling someone else's work, and can be used to check the book is as it was. Downsides -

A hash would be better, it's decentralised, somewhat prevents someone reselling someone else's work, and can be used to check the book is as it was. Downsides - Different versions don't appear related by the hash.
- sathishmanohar 15y agoUsing Hash is a great idea. May be we can use a unique hash for a book and a version hash (first 5 characters of sha1 hash of that version).
