- josephcsible 4y agoIMO, the rule should be that fees are only allowed if it's possible to get the product without the thing the fee is for. For example, Comcast shouldn't be allowed to charge a sports fee on top of the price of a cable package unless you can avoid it by giving up the sports channels from the package.
