The ck's in the typeface of this article made me stop for a fraction of a second when I hit each one. It was jarring.
- isoprophlex 4y agoI second that. Jarring indeed. Maybe there's some ligature history I'm unaware of but ligating c and k seems about as useful as gluing the letters 'wq' together.
- Tomte 4y agoAt least in German it's a standard ligature, but nowadays rarely used (mostly in very designery and ornamental stuff).
