I refuse to buy anything locked behind a case at a location that is supposed to be a convenience. Pretty much all drug stores are convenience locations located near grocery stores, Targets, local shops, shopping centers etc. If Walgreens wants to put my favorite deodorant or razors behind a box in an understaffed location (because they've replaced multiple employees with a self check out) I'll just get a less good alternative elsewhere, order my favorite online, and be sure to track my usage so I don't run out next time.
