So now we have the acoustic cavity, this, and that weird optical thing I read about over a decade back (I dimly recollect that it was light-activated and there was a strange glass involved). I always get a kick out of refrigeration, and I think I know why: you're straight up fighting entropy (locally of course) in one of its most raw and obvious forms. Sometimes I wonder how many basic methods there are and if they can be combined in bizarre, almost unfathomable ways.
