My main concern is he presented explanations, not apologies.
And I admittedly have no idea how the job market works, since I made the mistake of discussing working in intelligence when I was in my early 20s, and have had a series of folks try to keep me precarious ever since while simultaneously complaining I seem a bit… extreme.
(That’s what happens when someone senses a disconnect between cause and effect… they stop thinking as much about consequences.)

- greggarious 4y agoAnd I don’t owe him assistance. You are absolutely correct that I am prejudiced - against folks I feel are entitled and antisocial. A different tone and word choice would have generated a very different response, given he doesn’t sound like a “hands on” offender and thus not actually as huge employment risk as a full blown rapist.
