Why are car companies building chargers? Shouldn't it be the electric utilities doing this, just like the oil companies build gas stations? Seems like it could be a way to finance the increased grid capacity we're going to need. Cut out the middle man.

- anakaine 4y agoSeems like a slippery slope to introducing their own locked in standards, fracturing the recharging market, and accidentally slowing EV uptake.
