I think it would have been better to go when you had a little more cash, but I'd focus on finding a lawyer to discuss declaring bankruptcy to try to make things like the repo'ed car's debt go away and try to use their networking and past client knowledge.
Many independent lawyers, accountants, etc, are likely to know odd situations and odd entities that just barely want to meet contractual obligations, etc. Of course others are more specialized in just talking to one type of niche client..
- jstarfish 4y agoBK will guarantee he remains homeless and immobile for the next decade. You can't have both a criminal record and a BK and rent or buy anything on credit.
- monkeybutler 4y agoI don't see where the good credit record would come from so I would generally consider renting a room (via roomates) and never using credit again to be better life choices for the stated goals. But I intentionally said consult with them as I have no idea on modern bankruptcy situation.
