- poszlem 4y agoI might be misunderstanding what the author is trying to say, but to me the whole thing read like many contemporary social science articles that make a jump from: "a certain part of an experience can be affected by nurture" to "therefor there is no objective measurement of anything and everything can be changed through relearning". By doing so we are kind of leaving the realm of reality and we go into metaphysics.
- nverno 4y agoThe list of additions to the pain definition all seem painfully obvious, like warnings not to drink a container of bleach. I don't think the author is saying anything of note, but trying to reframe things from an HR perspective.
