We essentially came to simple choice: less people, higher standard of living, more people, shittier standard of living. Either choice will require unpopular measures, but at least let’s make the choice consciously. I’m convinced “more people” way will lead to terrible authoritarian tyrannical society. So my choice is less people and cars are fine.
