For movies I’m ditching the streaming subscriptions and back to digital rentals. Most of the old movies are available for $2.99 from Amazon Prime Video. A couple clicks from the smart tv is worth a few bucks to me compared to finding the torrent then finding a way to get it in the TV. Watching classic films is more fulfilling than the latest steaming fad. If you try to consume quality over quantity the monetization isn’t too bad IMHO.
