I find it interesting that the penalty for violating the WARN act basically seems to be paying the amount you would have had to pay if you followed the WARN act, and nothing additional. Seems like an incentive to ignore it.
- outside1234 4y agoThe WARN act is to give employees time to find another job. Basically Elon has chosen to not get any labor in return for that 60 day notice
- ojbyrne 4y agoThe OP is suggesting that there was no actual pay for that notice period.
